Hi, welcome back to LizTV.
I'm here to inspire YOU to design a life of health, happiness & abundance...and feel sexy doing it! And today I want to introduce you to one of my favorite longevity secrets…the Infrared Detox Sauna.
I have done some serious research on the latest and greatest wellness offerings around the world and one of my favorites is the Infrared Detox Sauna that I have at Live for Balance, my wellness studio in Edwards. This sauna has benefits that far outweigh most other saunas. I believe“Healthy from the inside out” and this Sauna does it all and then some.
So what is infrared light? It’s literally part of the sun’s invisible spectrum and has the ability to penetrate human tissue. This type of heat is able to improve circulation and rejuvenate skin. To live, humans need the sun’s light. An imbalance of these within our bodies can manifest as mental and physical distress. The infrared light helps with these imbalances.
There is a wide body of both scientific and anecdotal evidence regarding the effectiveness of sauna heat therapy to support health benefits including:
Detox from our sauna is 7 to 10 times greater than a conventional one. In a conventional sauna the average person sweats out 3% toxins and 97% water.
In our Infrared sauna, the average person sweats out 30% toxins and 70% water! This is great for the removal of heavy metals like mercury and lead. It's also great for improved hormonal balance from hormonal detoxification as the removal of toxic estrogen stored in fat cells is encouraged
Lowers Blood Pressure
The solocarbon heaters, in clinical study in 2005, were shown to lower blood pressure from a 30 min sauna session 3 times a week.
Repeated infrared treatment improves impaired blood vessel function in patients with high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol.
A 30 minute infrared sauna session can burn up to 200-400 calories! As the body works to cool itself while using the infrared sauna, there is a substantial increase in heart rate, cardiac output and metabolic rate.
Infrared heat therapy raises core body temperature causing passive cardiovascular conditioning. Your body’s natural response to infrared heat therapy is to increase circulation and sweat.
Heating of muscles and body temperature elevation with infrared produces an increased blood flow. Infrared heat assists in resolution of inflammatory infiltrates, edema & exudates.
The increase peripheral circulation provides the transport needed to help evacuate the edema which can help end inflammation, decrease pain and help speed healing.
Improve your skin’s appearance. Infrared heat therapy helps acne, eczema, psoriasis, burns, open wounds, skin lesions or cuts. It also reduces wrinkles, makes skin look radiant, firms & improves skin tone, elasticity and cellulite.
Relieve back, neck and arthritis pain with infrared sauna heat therapy. Researchers studying HRP (heat responsive pain) have observed remarkable therapeutic benefits by using continuous low level heat therapy for treating lower back and upper body pain.
Most of us have compromised immune systems, and this sauna is here to help us strengthen our weaknesses, whatever they may be. Imagine enjoying yourself, while simultaneously having anti-aging and purifying red light therapy, which stimulates collagen production to reduce wrinkles. Stimulating the circulatory system also oxygenates the body’s cells; better blood flow means removing more toxins from the body, which also improves cell health and muscle tone.
Honestly when I first experienced this sauna in Europe, I couldn’t believe how incredible I felt! I was being treated for high levels of mercury and the sauna really helped me to release those large amounts of mercury through the sauna.
I love this infrared detox sauna and if you haven’t treated yourself yet…find your nearest one and get your sweat on! If you are ever near Edwards, Colorado, come treat yourself to a session at Live for Balance.
Thanks for joining me here on LizTV, inspiring you to design a life you love through health, happiness & abundance…and feel sexy going it! See you next time
