I hear a lot from my clients about how little they are enjoying exercise. Across the board from my coaching clients, no one likes to exercise! It's more of a "have to" than "get to." This week, I want to shift that mindset and teach you how to enjoy exercise. And it starts by picking something that you enjoy doing. I'm here in Sonoma on one of my favorite hikes and there is something so incredible about connecting to the dirt and being outside.
Connecting with nature during exercise is such a great way to shift your mindset and enjoy yourself. Look around and see the sky, the trees, and all the beautiful elements that surround you. Pick a place and a exercise that you enjoy doing. It doesn't' have to be miserable.
We live in an obsessed nation of being skinny, and able to fit into your favorite jeans. And while that may be a great benefit to exercising, I want you to find the joy in exercising instead. Get outside, go on a bike ride or find a great hiking trail. This week connect with nature.
We were born to move. So move your body. Movement is life!
