Let’s look at my health for example. I have a family history of hashimoto's thyroid disease. Most doctors I have worked with are so quick to “fix my thyroid”. But knowing what I now know from a ton of trial and error on my own and lots of research, jumping into treating my thyroid would be like building my house on sand.
When I go into a hypo-thyroidsim period, it also means I experience low stomach acid. That then leads to reducing my nutrient absorption. I also had adrenal & cortisol stress, and high levels of mercury in my body. None of these symptoms would go away with just treating my thyroid. Trust me, I tried this! Short term it works well, but long term it turns havoc on your health.
